CREATIVE CONTENT STUDIO

BRITANNIA ARCHITECTURAL METALWORK

Steeped in tradition with a loyal client base, Britannia Architectural Metalwork was already a successful and well-established business. Having recently been taken over by the next generation, it became apparent that modernisation was needed in order to reflect the new phase the business was entering. Subsequently, we were fortunate enough to be entrusted with the process from start to finish, taking full creative control over Britannia’s updated image for both their Architectural Metalwork and Estate Fencing businesses.

Website design + build

Visual + verbal identity

Filmmaking

After many in-depth conversations with the Founders and leadership team, getting a better insight into their values and vision for the business moving forward, our brief was to create a visual and verbal identity to motivate and engage both existing and future consumers, and to deliver a future-proof e-commerce site for their products.

Having visited the foundry and seen the team at work, we were in awe of the meticulous approach applied to each and every one of Britannia’s projects. It was immediately obvious that the service Britannia’s clients receive warranted a visual identity reflecting their attention to detail and high-level of craftsmanship.

Similarly to Britannia Estate Fencing, pre-existing imagery was limited, meaning we spent time filming and photographing projects and products to be used on the website and social media accounts. We decided that minimal simplistic branding would allow the intricate products to speak for themselves, whilst mirroring the branding created for its sister brand, Britannia Estate Fencing.

Having originally been one organisation, whilst exploring options for the company’s updated image, it became obvious that due to the differing products and services offered by Estate Fencing and Architectural Metalwork, it was a good opportunity to separate the two. Although it was important that the visual identities were created in tandem, we hoped to construct two sites and brands which could stand alone as effectively as they did together.

Since going live, the website has received a great deal of praise from others in the industry, as well as architects, landscapers and private clients. As Britannia grows in scale, we are working with them to create a long-term content campaign for social media over the next few years.
