In advance of the opening of their new gallery on Cork Street, London, we were commissioned by Stephen Friedman to create a film with Yinka Shonibare CBE who would be the first artist to exhibit in the new space. Spending time both at his studio and within the exhibition itself, we were able to explore the driving forces behind some of Shonibare’s most famous works, including his Wind Sculpture Series and Nelson’s Ship in a Bottle, which many will have seen on the Fourth Plinth in London’s Trafalgar Square.
