When Dishoom asked for our help in bringing to life the stories of three trailblazing women in line with their first ever wearables launch, we knew we had to do their incredible stories justice. Starting with the scripts, we began to build the films using archival footage and photographs, layering these with footage of illustrator Manjit Thapp at work in her Birmingham studio, and of course, the final products being modelled in one of Dishoom’s famous cafes. It was an honour to be part of such an exciting moment in Dishoom’s journey and to learn about and honour three such fascinating female leaders.
