Founded by Lauren Mahon, GirlvsCancer prides itself on being an inclusive space for all cancer experiences. As part of their rebrand, our task was to shoot BTS and create social media content to be released prior to their new manifesto. Filmed around east London, the campaign saw 14 women read aloud the powerful manifesto, and mark the start of Girl vs Cancer’s new chapter. We created a series of Instagram reels, as well as stills, incorporating statements from the manifesto and BTS footage, to be released during the soft launch.
As a female-founded company, it meant a lot to us to be part of the shoot and witness the power of the collective first hand. Given the cause, all profits were donated to the charities Girl vs Cancer supports; Trekstock, Coppafeel, Look Good Feel Better and Future Dreams.
